BIOLAN has taken part in the 15th INFOFISH World Tuna Trade Conference, the world’s leading event dedicated for the Tuna Industry held in Bangkok from 28 to 30 May 2018. More than 600 major tuna industry players and stakeholders have attended from all corners of the globe, from harvesting through processing and marketing of tuna, as well as manufacturers and suppliers of equipment. The participants have discussed the present challenges and opportunities in creating a socially, economically and environmentally sustainable global tuna market.
This event has been a great opportunity for BIOLAN to present directly to the tuna industry its biosensors for the determination of relevant analytical parameters such as histamine. Mainly, BIOLAN has launched its new biosensor BIOFISH 700 HISTAMINE, portable analytical equipment for the determination of histamine in tuna at any point in its capture and/or processing chain, in a reliable, accurate, simple, fast and cost-efficient manner.
