From August 29th to 31st 2019 was held in Ho Chi Minh (Vietnam) the 21st edition of the Fisheries International Exhibition 2019 (VIETFISH 2019), one of the most important events for the seafood industry in Asia in which BIOLAN has participated with an own stand, showing the innovations in BIOFISH, biosensors for monitoring quality and food safety in seafood products.

BIOFISH has again aroused much interest among different seafood industries, which identify in BIOLAN biosensors a useful and precise tool for the control of parameters such as histamine and sulphite, and a feasible alternative to the methods currently used, allowing them to strengthen the quality and safety guarantees of their products.

233 exhibitors from 15 countries around the world such as South Korea, Japan, Germany, Singapore, China, Taiwan, etc. have participated in VIETFISH 2019. With the slogan \”Asia’s Home of Seafood\”, VIETFISH has become a very valuable forum for the meeting between professionals from the sector, exporters and importers, technological suppliers, etc., to exchange and share experiences, focused in achieving healthier and higher quality products.

This 2019 exhibition has been organised in the context of booming development of Vietnam fishery sector, with a greater diversity of products and services, continuous updates of technologies and a constant and stable growth rate over the years. Vietnam´s fishery export value in 2018 was nearly USD 9 billion, to more than 170 markets via over 600 fishery processing and export enterprises which created jobs for about 5 million labors. This has placed Vietnam among the world’s top fishery exporting countries.
