The twelfth edition of the Bizkaia On Enpresa Awards was held on 23 February at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC). These awards recognise two competition categories – Business Project and Trajectory – and a total of seven prizes were awarded. The Lifetime Achievement award is given to a startup and a spinoff that have been supported by the regional programme for the Creation of new companies, monitored by Beaz over the last five years.
BIOLAN has been awarded the ON BIZKAIA prize in the “Best trajectory of a start-up” category, among other awards related to Innovation, Internationalisation and Digital Transition. BIOLAN is currently very focused on both the digitalisation project of its products and the transversal digitalisation of its company. In addition, BIOLAN is constantly searching for new analytical solutions in order to respond to the needs of the food industry and the health sector, focusing on technological innovation.
During the conference, Unai Rementeria, Deputy General of Bizkaia, shared his vision of the territory with the business community, identifying the major challenges facing Bizkaia. The territory must become a place that is ready to welcome major transformations and be a territory connected to the world.
BIOLAN is part of this transition, contributing its technological know-how and its long experience in the path of innovation and internationalisation since its beginnings.
