BIOLAN renews its Performance Tested Method PTM AOAC 051604 certificate for the quantification of histamine concentration with the new BIOFISH 3000 HIS biosensor.
BIOLAN reissues the certificate that it has held since 2016, when it joined the select club of the American association, with the biosensor BIO 300, an analytical method adopted by more than 500 fishing and processing companies around the world.
The market launch of the BIOFISH 3000 HIS – successor to the widely known BIO 300 equipment – in October 2021 put the focus on the need to obtain the prestigious AOAC validation of the product. Aware of the importance of being able to offer customers analytical methodologies that have the support and recognition of international bodies, BIOLAN devotes a very important part of its research and technological effort to expanding the range of products endorsed by the AOAC, an international reference body in analytics and laboratory. This is possible thanks to the perseverance and hard work of the powerful team of professionals in the Product Development and Certifications area led by Sandra Salleres and Jone Garate.
This latest recognition is of vital importance for BIOLAN, which sees how the technological advances of its latest generation of products (3000 and 7000 series) continue to maintain a high level of quality and usefulness, but also for its customers, giving them confidence and security in the products.
During the testing process leading to certification, the BIOFISH 3000 HIS performed very positively, with optimal recoveries, maximum precision and accuracy, all of which are necessary characteristics to obtain the certificate.
