Once again, BIOLAN has participated in the EUROPEAN SEAFOOD EXHIBITION 2018, consolidated as the most important fair in the world of its sector, which was held in Brussels from 24 to 26 April 2018. BIOLAN has presented its advanced biosensors in its own stand, serving as a showcase for its innovative products to the world market.

With this participation, BIOLAN has had the opportunity to present directly to the seafood industry its biosensors for the determination of relevant analytical parameters such as histamine and sulphite. Specifically in this edition, BIOLAN has launched its new biosensor BIOFISH 700 HISTAMINE, portable analytical equipment for the determination of histamine in tuna at any point in its capture and/or processing chain, in a reliable, accurate, simple, fast and cost-efficient manner.

In addition, BIOLAN has divulged among the sector the recent and new recognition of its technology, thanks the AOAC PTM certification obtained for BIOFISH 300 SULFITO by the AOAC Research Institute, an international reference in the field of validation and analytical certification. This certification demonstrates the reliability and accuracy of BIOLAN’s equipment and the equivalence with the official methods currently used.

EUROPEAN SEAFOOD EXPOSITION 2018 is an unmissable event for the sector’s professionals, both as an opportunity to discover the latest products and innovations in the sector, and given the important commercial relations and contacts that can result from the fair. The 2018 edition brought together 1,946 exhibitors from 79 countries and more than 70 national and regional pavilions.
