BIOLAN manages to implement the Environmental Management System under ISO 14001:2015, a standard that certifies our commitment to environmental protection through the management of environmental risks associated with our activity.
Obtaining certification entails identifying and reducing environmental impacts and complying with and promoting environmental legislation. “BIOLAN’s commitment to the environment and sustainability is not new, we have been working in this direction for years, which is now materialised with this public recognition” commented Asier Albizu, General Manager, at the recent end-of-first-half results presentation session.
This public recognition, in addition to being a competitive advantage, places special emphasis on BIOLAN’s continuous improvement, which through the regular assessment process of the standard ensures the constant monitoring and improvement of the organisation’s environmental performance.
On the other hand, BIOLAN has renewed its ISO 9001:2015 certification for another year, demonstrating that our Quality Management system complies with all the requirements of the standard. ISO 14001 aligns with other management system standards such as ISO 9001, which ultimately provides a more effective and efficient management of the overall system.
This double certification means a big step for BIOLAN, which reinforces the objective of continuing to grow as a company, always accompanied by a clear commitment to sustainability.
