BIOLAN took part once again in the EUROPEAN SEAFOOD EXPOSITION, consolidated as the world’s most important trade fair in its sector, held in Brussels from 7 to 9 May 2019. BIOLAN presented its advanced biosensors in its own stand, serving as a showcase for its innovative products to the world market.

With this participation BIOLAN presented to the seafood industry its biosensors for the determination of histamine and sulphite. Special expectation and interest has generated the product line BIOFISH 700, portable analytical equipment for the determination of histamine or sulphite at any point in the chain of capture, culture, and/or processing of tuna or crustaceans, in a reliable, accurate, simple, fast and cost-efficient.

The AOAC PTM certifications obtained for its BIOFISH 300 HISTAMINE and SULPHITE biosensors by the AOAC Research Institute, the international reference in the field of validation and analytical certification, attract the sectorial interest for BIOLAN technology because its reliability and precision and its comparison with the official methods currently used are fully validated.

EUROPEAN SEAFOOD EXPOSITION 2019, is an appointment of inexcusable attendance for the professionals of the sector, as much by the fact of knowing the last innovations and innovations of the sector as by the important commercial relations and contacts that can be established in this fair. The 2019 edition brought together 2,007 exhibiting companies from 88 countries and 74 national and regional pavilions.
