The 8th EuroScience Open Forum (ESOF) edition has taken place in Toulouse (France), from 9 till 14 July, 2018, and the BIOLAN Group has participated in this event presenting its last technological advances.  

Dr. Niamh Brannelly from BIOLAN and Dr. Laura Gonzalez-Macia from OSASEN attended the Forum to present the latest research ouputs of both companies in the areas of paper-based electrochemical biosensors applied to the food and health sectors.

Dr. Brannelly exhibited a poster about the EU H2020-funded Project INNPAPER entitled Innpaper develops ecological electronic sensing devices of the future. Dr. Laura Gonzalez-Macia introduced her Marie Skłodowska-Curie project during her flash presentation and poster entitled Paper biosensors: towards eco-friendly Point-of-Care (POC) diagnostics.  

ESOF is the largest interdisciplinary science meeting in Europe. This biennial European Forum brings together researchers, educators, business people, policy makers and journalists from all over the world to discuss about scientific research and innovation.
