From 21 to 24 October was held in Guayaquil (Ecuador) AQUA EXPO 2019, a world aquaculture congress that brings together national and international experts specialized in the aquaculture sector. BIOLAN has participated in this event with its own stand, showing the innovation of its BIOFISH products for the determination of sulphite in the shrimp production process.

AQUA EXPO, the most important event of the Ecuadorian shrimp industry, promotes for more than two decades, the continuous improvement in the sustainable production practices of Ecuadorian shrimp in order to increase its competitiveness. Its commercial exhibition shows innovation and technology in products or services related to the aquaculture sector.

BIOFISH has again aroused much interest among different shrimp industries, which see in BIOLAN biosensors a useful and accurate tool for the control of sulphite (AOAC certification of BIOFISH 300), and a viable alternative to the current methods, allowing them to strengthen the quality and safety guarantees of their products.

Special expectation and interest has generated the product line BIOFISH 700, portable analytical equipment for the determination of sulphite at any point in the production and/or processing chain of crustaceans, in a reliable, accurate, simple, fast and cost-efficient manner.
