From 6 to 12 September, more than 850 stakeholders from 39 countries have been joined in Denver Colorado, at the 133rd AOAC INTERNATIONAL Annual Meeting & Exposition, among them BIOLAN, as AOAC (Association of Official Analytical Chemists) International Affiliate member, has presented its own innovative analytical methods for food quality and safety.
This yearly event was where the food science analytical community came together to share knowledge and shape the initiatives that will drive food safety in 2020 and beyond. At this meeting, the inaugural Analytical Solutions Forum have been hold, a multi-faceted “idea incubator” helping stakeholders prepare for upcoming regulatory changes and emerging food safety issues.
In the scientific sessions, BIOLAN´S Product Development Manager, Sandra Salleres has presented on “Portable Enzymatic Biosensors From Lab to Market. Case Study: Tuna Fraud Detection”. BIOLAN also exhibited in the Exhibit Hall at Booth 207 joining stakeholders from industry, government, and academia. Moreover, Area Sales Manager, Cristina García, participated in the Exhibitor Presentations presenting the “Biosensors for food safety monitoring: challenges and solutions”.
