The pandemic caused by COVID-19 has forced the business sector, among other things, to adapt to the new reality that has conditioned labour mobility so much, accelerating processes of digitalisation of activity. BIOLAN has not been an exception, and the health crisis forced it to accelerate these processes that were already underway, to urgently address the circumstances imposed.
The adaptation of the whole computer and communication system has been a priority in BIOLAN for the implementation of a telecommuting system that allows it to operate remotely with all normality and efficiency, especially when it must be adequate to operate in the wide network of delegations at international level.
The INDUSTRIA DIGITALA 2020 Programme has supported this objective of implementing an agile and simple environment to facilitate telecommuting, equipped with the appropriate measures to operate in a safe and efficient way.
INDUSTRIA DIGITALA is a programme financed by SPRI, the Basque Agency for Business Development of the Basque Government, whose main aim is to promote the incorporation of Electronic, Information and Communication Technologies (TEICs) and to improve their use, quality and access in the Basque business environment. It is an action co-financed by SPRI and the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund 2020 (ERDF).
